Synextra Make Top 50 Growth Ranking | Northern Tech Awards

We are happy to announce that we have been recognised as one of the top 50 fastest growing tech companies in the North of the UK at the Northern Tech Awards 2021.

Founded in 2014 in the heart of Media City, Manchester, Synextra founder and CEO, Chris Piggott has had his sights set on making the Northern Tech Awards growth ranking shortlist since the beginning and 2021 is the year that this dream became a reality.

Shining a light on the technology sector, the awards celebrate innovative businesses that have developed significantly and contributed to the growth of the North of England, Scotland, and Ireland. Chris attended an awards ceremony on 9th November and found out the company had placed in the top 50, ranking 31st.

“Attending the awards was great opportunity to speak with other CEOs and celebrate not only the achievements of individual businesses, but the industry as a whole. I was particularly proud to see so many businesses based in the North West, showing the region’s position as a big contributor to the tech scene. GP Bullhound put on a great night, really showcasing the passion for the industry and some of the businesses that represent it.

Synextra has gone from strength to strength making the cloud accessible for all businesses. As a technically led business, we successfully break down the complex nature of cloud technology into a way customers can understand, highlighting the opportunities it brings to their business. As well as substantial growth in the last 12 months, we have also launched a rebrand and new website. As part of the rebranding process, we launched our brand-new podcast, Experts in Polo Shirts, and a technical YouTube channel. Alongside this, we have increased our product portfolio, inclusive of highly regarded security products, grown the technical team, and improved processes for such things as project management and technical pre-sales.
