Michael Pyne joins Synextra’s management team

Manchester-based IT services provider Synextra is delighted to announce the appointment of Michael Pyne, who joins them as Managing Director.

Pyne brings with him a wealth of experience in the IT industry from both a technical and strategic positioning, and is welcomed on board to add high-level management experience to a young and vibrant team. He joins the business at a time of exciting growth and development as the company forges ahead with their vision to provide streamlined, integrated and holistic IT solutions for businesses in the North West.

Pyne will be responsible for the delivery of Synextra’s vision of delivering a complete cloud hosted service through a single provider.

As Cloud technology matures and connectivity becomes more affordable and reliable for business owners I firmly believe that the uptake in cloud services will rocket over the next three years” He comments. “The agility and flexibility that the cloud offers to business is simply too strong to ignore and momentum and appetite for IT as a service is building rapidly.”

With 27 years’ experience in the IT industry, Pyne moved from his native Derry City in the late 1980s to Jersey to kick-start his career as a hardware engineer. He progressed into operating system administration and by the time he left Jersey and moved to the Wirral with his family, was leading a team of technical analysts. He then spent 10 years as Head of IT Support Services for Manchester Solutions, before moving to take the role of Director of IT for the Manchester Growth Company.

Out of the office, Michael’s interests include a variety of sports, spending time with his wife and two daughters, and enjoying the Welsh countryside on foot with his dog, Milo.
