Employee Q&A with Charlie Fry

This month, we are thrilled to greet our new Executive Assistant Charlie to our Synextra family. We sat down with Charlie and dug a little deeper into her life before becoming a Synextrite and her very strange dislike of toast condiments…

You’ve joined Synextra at an exciting time, how are you finding it so far?

Everyone has been so lovely and welcoming. It’s nice to work in a place where everyone respects each others role and position.

Tell us a bit more about your career up to this point.

I worked in a law firm for 4 years, prior to that I worked at a day care for dogs in Stockport for 2 years!

What’s your favourite thing about working in operations?

No day is the same and you never know what will come your way.

What has been your biggest achievement?

It hasn’t happened yet but hopefully winning Glastonbury tickets.

What does a typical weekend look like for you?

I spend my weekends in Liverpool, mainly with my dog Lexi and friends in cafes or Sefton Park.

What was your first job?

Dog walking for a neighbour.

Tell us something not a lot of people know about you:

I do like to bake in my spare time and also I don’t like jam.
