Synextra with their Data and AI solutions partner designation award

Synextra has been awarded the Microsoft Solutions Partner designation for Data & AI (Azure) — adding to our existing Azure Infrastructure designation, and the latest step in an ongoing journey that reflects how far our capabilities have evolved.

We work with mid-market and enterprise businesses across the UK as an embedded technology division. Azure has always been our core, but the work we do for clients has grown well beyond managed infrastructure, and this designation is recognition of that.

What the Microsoft Data and AI designation means

Data and AI Microsoft solutions partner designation for Synextra

Microsoft’s Solutions Partner designations are independently verified, earned through certified expertise, measurable customer success, and proven delivery track record. This designation recognises Synextra’s capability to help organisations build and operationalise data and AI solutions on Azure.

Alongside our Infrastructure designation, it reflects the full depth of our Azure practice and the breadth of what we’re able to deliver for clients across the platform.

Chris Piggott, CEO at Synextra, comments: “Our core has always been Azure infrastructure. But the businesses we work with need more than that now — and so do we. This designation reflects where the team has been pushing: data, AI, automation, outcomes you can measure. None of it happens without the people behind it, and I’m incredibly proud of the team members whose certifications made this possible.”

What this looks like in practice

This designation reflects the direction Synextra has been moving for some time. Alongside our managed infrastructure practice, we’ve built significant capability in platform engineering, DevOps, business process automation, and data management — disciplines that sit at the intersection of cloud, software, and intelligence.

In practice, that means using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI to bring data together and surface insights that people can act on. It means embedding AI optimisation into DevOps and platform workflows so teams move faster and operate with greater confidence. It means building systems that don’t just support the business — they help drive it forward.

We build internal tools, work with AI agents, and constantly push into new territory.
